Mount View Glade is a nine-acre natural area in Davidson County that was purchased by The Nature Conservancy in 1990 and later transferred to the State of Tennessee. It is located in suburban Nashville and is surrounded by subdivisions. This small natural area is fenced and gated with a small pull off area for limited public access. The natural area was acquired and then designated to protect one of five populations of the federally endangered Tennessee coneflower (Echinacea tennesseensis). Mt. View has been an area that has provided research opportunities for the recovery and protection of Tennessee coneflower through funding provided by the US Fish and Wildlife Service.

The natural area has a small cedar-hardwood forest and one large and several small glade openings. Some other state rare species associated with Mount View Glade include glade-cress (Leavenworthia exigua var. exigua), Tennessee milk-vetch (Astragalus tennesseensis), glade cleft phlox (Phlox bifida ssp. stellaria), limestone fame-flower (Talinum calcaricum), and glade onion (Alliums stellatum). The cedar-hardwood forest and edge along the fence has been impacted by invasive exotic plant species like privet, honeysuckle and English ivy. An effort to control these invasive plants is an on-going process.
