There's a lot to do and see at Paris Landing State Park! Enjoy a picnic at one of the picnic areas overlooking Kentucky Lake, or reserve a picnic pavilion for your family reunion or company picnic. Hit the links at our Par 72, 18-hole golf course, or play softball, basketball or tennis at our various sports areas (equipment not provided). We have fishing at its finest on the beautiful Kentucky Lake/TN River. Up for a swim? There is a public swimming area and beach on Kentucky Lake and an Olympic-sized swimming pool at the park inn.

Boating

Located on mile marker 66.1 on Kentucky Lake is the Paris Landing full-service marina and boat ramp. The marina has covered & uncovered slips equipped with electric (30 & 50 amp). The marina offers gas, diesel fuel, a self-serve pump out station and transportation to the inn, restaurant, and golf course. The marina store sells fishing licenses, bait, ice, and all your other boating needs. Contact the harbormaster on channel 16 or by phone (731) 641-4474 for information. No boat rentals.

Fishing

Fishing at it's finest on the beautiful Kentucky Lake/TN River--some people say that's what it's all about! Imagine more than 100 species scattered over broad expanses of fresh water and lurking in hundreds of secluded coves. Crappie, bass, catfish, sauger, walleye, bluegill, stripes, and more - they're singing a siren song just for you. There's something for everyone, from the expert angler with the fancy gear (some of the biggest tournaments are staged here) to the kid on the bank with a cane pole . and everywhere in between. There are two fishing piers available. Anglers 13 and older must have a valid TN Fishing license.

Golf

Paris Landing has a beautiful and challenging Par 72, 18-hole course with bent-grass greens. In 2004, the course became sanctioned by the National Audubon management program. The park pro shop provides golfing supplies, lessons, rental clubs, and carts. Golf packages are available. The pro shop snack bar is open (March-October) for breakfast and lunch with quick service to get you back on the course.

Hiking

The park's self-guided trail system is three miles long and consist of two trails ranging from easy to moderate. If that's not enough, over 100 miles of trail are nearby at Land Between the Lakes

Picnic Facilities

The park's picnic area has a beautiful view of Kentucky Lake. Picnic areas are equipped with grills and water spigots. The fishing dock, playground, tennis/basketball courts, swimming pool, and amphitheater and restrooms are all nearby. The park also has 2 picnic pavilions ideal for your next family reunion, church or company picnic outing with us. Reserve by calling (731) 642-4311.

Playgrounds and Sports Fields

Enjoy the tennis courts, softball field, volleyball court, archery range, basketball courts and playgrounds. There are no rental fees for these activities. Sports equipment is not available.

Programs

An Interpretive Raptor Program is offered on Friday night in the hotel lobby (April-Oct.) with an opportunity to view different birds of prey. Our seasonal interpretive ranger offers activities every weekend throughout the summer. A Seasonal Interpretive Ranger is also available to assist large groups with planning recreational activities.

The annual "Summer in the Park" concert series is every Saturday night from May to July. Listen to the sounds of bluegrass, gospel, and country as the sunsets over Kentucky Lake.

Swimming

There is a public swimming area and beach on Kentucky Lake. There are no lifeguards, although it is a protected swimming area with picnic area and restrooms nearby. The park has an Olympic-size public swimming pool along with a kiddie pool with lifeguards on duty. The public pool is open from Memorial Day to first week of August. The pool complex features a white-sand beach volleyball court, two diving boards, snack bar, and over 150 sun-loungers. There is also a swimming pool at the inn for inn and cabin guests. No lifeguard is on duty.
